Economy Grades

In Plastic Design, it is important to understand the application thoroughly. Many applications with wider tolerances can take advantage of lower priced resins. Our line includes a series of nylon resins which are priced to compete with reprocessed nylons, yet provide physical properties and processing characteristics generally associated with prime virgin resin. Appearance is better than generally available from reprocessed nylon and lot to lot uniformity is consistent.

A830 Medium Viscosity (50 R.V.) for medium strength applications such as multifilament and monofilament.
A830W2 Same as A830 but semi dull for textile spinning applications
831 Medium Viscosity (45-50 R.V.) for wire jacketing, coatings, film and rods. More amorphous and better puncture resistance.
833 Medium Viscosity (52 R.V.) high monomer content giving it good flexibility and high strength. For monofilament extrusion.
834 Plasticized version of 831, with high monomer content for applications requiring good flexibility, high strength and good abrasion resistance, such as soft monofilament, flexible tubing and cable jacketing.
835 Medium Viscosity (70 R.V.) for coating and laminating applications, FDA approved
A835 Medium Viscosity (75 R.V.) for high strength multi and monofilament applications like sewing thread, fishing net, etc. Also available lubricated (A835L).
851 High Viscosity (200 R.V.) for tubing, rods, shapes, rigid pipe and blow molding. Has highest puncture resistance. FDA approved.

850 High Viscosity (100 R.V.) blown film and co-extrusion contains surface lubricant. Has excellent melt stability and very high melt strength.
